Water Pumps
The type and size of an irrigation system will determine whether or not you require an irrigation pump. Small systems can be run from normal tap pressure but in larger properties the pressure must be generated by a pump. We have expertise in a wide range of pumps from 0.5hp - 3hp and will be able to advise you on the best option for your irrigation system. We also maintain and service existing pump systems.
Irrigation Timers & Sensors
Electronic timers and sensors adjust the watering cycle according to rainfall, sunlight and soil saturation. This reduces water loss while ensuring plants receive water at the right time.
The simplest system is a battery operated timer that will simply turn your tap supply on or off. More complex computer driven systems may take information from across the system and adjust water pressure and output according to the requirements of each zone. We will work with you to determine the most appropriate system for your needs and budget.
Electrical Safety
Irrigation System electrics are generally installed in external
locations such as gardens, sheds and outbuildings where they are exposed
to wet or damp conditions. The provision and installation of electricity
in these "Special Locations" is regulated by Part P of the Building
Regulations.
